PIV Unit In Your Home

PIV units work by drawing fresh air from your loft areas and dispersing the air into the rooms below. This creates a positive input in the air pressure in your home moving moisture which would normally condensate and turn into mould.

We install a  Vent-Axia Pozidry Pro heated PIV system which heats the filtered air resulting in no heat loss in your home. The units are extremely cheap to run and use minimal energy.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers
What is the cost of the PIV and installation?
We offer a fixed price national supply and install service for £675.00 + vat (£810 inc VAT)
How much does the PIV unit cost to run?

The fan motor typically consumes about 5 Watts of power. Over a year this would cost as little as £7 or less than 2 pence a day. Its smart software enables it to switch itself between heat mode , fan only mode and standby mode in the summer when it is not required. It also uses lost heat from the property and recycles this wasted energy.

Where does the PIV go?

The PIV unit sits in the loft, either hanging from a joist or attached to joists with adjustable anti vibration feet. It has a circular diffuser that is installed on the landing ceiling (white, around the size of a dinner plate).

Does the unit require maintenance?

The unit is maintenance free for up to 5 years, after which it is advisable to replace filters to ensure maximum efficiency and performance. Replacement filters are available through us or on Amazon.

Can you hear the PIV running?

With noise levels as low as 9dB(A) in the home, the unit is near silent when in operation.

Do I need a loft ?

Yes, for our standard PIV units your home will need a loft.

How/When do I pay for the PIV installation?

There is nothing to pay upfront, you will receive an invoice following the installation with our business account details. We accept payment via bank transfer. You will also receive a link to review our services

What unit do you install?

We supply and install the Vent-Axia Pozidry Pro heated PIV system, these are made in the UK and are made with 100% recycled materials.

What areas do you cover?

Currently we cover the whole of the North East.
